Projected uses Actual where entered, otherwise Target, otherwise Quoted. Leave Target blank to mark a line “Not doing”: it drops out of every total. Difference is Target minus Quoted. Type an amount there to set the target directly: 350 or −350 takes $350 off his quote, +350 goes above it.
Adjusting: untick In to drop a line from the totals and see what it saves. Use − / + beside Target to move a price by the ± step.
Contingency is reserved on top of the projected cost. Typical for a GTHA reno of an older home: 10–15%, 15–20% if walls are being opened.
